REMEMBER we have worship here every Wednesday night at 6:45, preceeded by supper at 5:30, followed by Sanctuary choir rehearsal at 8 pm
Youth Camp 2010 - BIG CHANGE!!! We are now going to Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters in Andrews. North Carolina this summer. I believe that our group needs a time of bonding and learning to trust, how better than to be hanging from a rope together 90 feet above a river, or climbing vertically along a cliff face encouraging and being encouraged by your youth group. I believe that SWO is a great camp and will bring our group together like it has never been before as long as you go with the attitude of seeking God and seeking each other. Yes camp is expensive but we knew that when we decided to do it. We are now at the point of being responsible for all spots reserved whether you go or not, so you can't back out. You need to get busy earning your money!
Having said that, Please do not ever let money be a reason you don't go, we can work it out and will gladly do that as long as I know there is a need. Do not let pride stop you from allowing God to bless you. Come go with us. I believe that we could have as many as 63 going this year. If you are willing to work some, I will make sure you have the money to go. Talk to me!
Just so you know our Servant Leaders are Ashley H., Bethany J., Linn S., Sunshine A., Sam D., Sean H., Stephen C., Travis D., Thomas A., John A, Jacquelyn C, and Matt H.., Please pray for them and yourself. So many of you have the potential to serve and be strong leaders, what will it take for you to follow in the steps of The Servant.
This year, 2010, I plan to have a Servant Leaders Retreat, as well as a spring and fall retreat. There will also be service projects in our community as well as outreach projects. I am willing to listen to any and all ideas for events, come talk to me.

5/16 Youth Fellowship, staying at the churc bring snacks
5/30 5th Sunday Sing and Covered dish supper
6/4 NCA and UHS graduation 7pm
6/6 Senior Recognition in the AM Service bring your cap and gown
6/11 BHS graduation

7/11 Family Fun Day at Camp Blanding
don't forget that the youth cook on the 3rd and 4th Wed of April and May
also during the summer we will be opening the pool at the Coxe house to the youth group for swimming after Sunday night worship
